How do I choose between A La Carte collections and the Blossom subscription?
The Blossom subscription gives you a starting recipe database and ongoing monthly recipe inspiration plus full access to the platform to organize and customize your recipes. A La Carte collections are a good option if you need standardized recipes for a specific season or category without a monthly commitment. If you want to try before subscribing, start with a collection or take advantage of the free 7-day trial.
Can multiple locations share one subscription?
You can share access, but each location benefits from having its own subscription. With an individual subscription, each location can tag favorites, customize recipes to their equipment and population, and build a recipe database that reflects their specific community. RecipeTree pricing is intentionally structured to be affordable so each location can have its own.
I already have access to recipes through my food vendor or GPO. Why would I also need RecipeTree?
Vendor and GPO recipe databases are built for purchasing, not necessarily for healthcare compliance. RecipeTree fills the gaps as IDDSI texture levels, CCP/HACCP steps, therapeutic diet flags, cultural variety, and scalable yields are all built in. RecipeTree also gives you a portable recipe keeper that stays with you even if your vendor or software relationships change.
Why pay for recipes when I can find them online for free?
Most free recipes are not written for healthcare. They do not include CCP/HACCP safety steps, IDDSI texture modification guidance, therapeutic diet recommendations, allergen identification, or scalable yields. RecipeTree recipes include all of that so your team can use them with confidence and your facility stays compliant.
